Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a contract between you and ZARFA s.r.o., ID 04573021, registered office at Arnošta Valenty 639/5, 198 00 Praha, Czechia ("we", "us", "our"), for the Tuvro mobile application and its backend services (together, the "Service"). Tuvro is a one-phone, in-person party game: a table of people spin a bottle, and each spin hands a prompt to whoever it lands on. This is not a marketplace, not a dating product, and not a sale of physical goods.
By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Read §4, Consent, safety and how you play in full before you play with anyone else — it sets the rules the whole game runs on. How we handle personal data is separate and lives in our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and age
Tuvro is for adults. The Service is listed for mature audiences only (App Store 18+, or the equivalent top-tier rating on your storefront). It is not directed at children, it is not a Kids Category app, and you must be at least 18 years old to download, install, or use it.
Some content packs go further:
- Friends Night and Pub Flirty carry no separate in-app age check beyond the store's own download restriction.
- Couples Heat and After Dark ("spicy packs") contain non-explicit sexual content. Before you open a spicy pack for the first time in a session, the app asks you to confirm that everyone currently at the table meets the legal age for adult material. The floor is 18; where your storefront or local law sets a higher age for that content (for example 19 or 21 in some countries), that higher age controls instead.
Do not open a spicy pack, and do not let anyone else at the table open one, if any person present does not meet that age. The app cannot verify anyone's age. It has no way to see who is physically at the table, check an ID, or confirm that the confirmation you give it is true. Your in-app confirmation is exactly that — your own confirmation, not a check we perform — and you, not us, are solely responsible for making sure everyone present actually meets the required age before a spicy pack is opened. We may refuse, limit, or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe this section has been violated.
2. The Service
Tuvro provides game packs made of prompts, plus the roster, matching, and session features that run a night of play. Some packs are free; premium packs require an active subscription (see §5). You need a reasonably current iOS or Android device and OS version of the kind commonly supported by App Store and Google Play apps.
We may add, change, remove, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including individual prompts or entire packs, at any time. We aim to keep the Service available and useful, but we do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous availability.
3. Playing as a guest, and accounts
You don't need an account to play Tuvro, or to buy Premium. The first time you open the app, it gives your install an anonymous guest id, shown in Settings as the Support ID. Your subscription status and task votes are kept with it, and it's how we find them when you write to us.
Player names, gender tags, and interest preferences you set for a night remain on your device; they are not a public profile. Task votes and similar in-app signals you send us are used to improve the Service and are not published as user-generated content anywhere.
You can delete your data at any time from Settings → Delete my data. That removes the guest id and the app data we control for it, and the app carries on as a new guest. Your subscription stays with your Apple ID or Google account and comes back with Restore purchases. Deleting your data does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription — see §5.
If you have an account (Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or email and password), you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that happens under it. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been accessed without your permission. You can delete it at any time from Settings → Delete account, which removes the account and the app data we control for it, and, the same as above, does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription.
4. Consent, safety and how you play
Tuvro is entertainment played between people who already know and trust each other. This section is the most important part of these Terms. It is not boilerplate, and breaching it is a breach of your agreement with us, not a minor house rule.
4.1 Prompts are suggestions, never instructions
Every prompt the Service shows is a dare or a conversation starter offered for entertainment. A prompt is not an order, not a contract between the players it names, and not a requirement that anyone touch, kiss, answer, perform, or do anything at all. The Service has no way to know whether a prompt is a good idea for the specific people looking at it right now, and does not vouch that it is.
4.2 Consent is required, every time, from everyone it involves
Nothing a prompt suggests may happen unless every person it involves freely, currently, and enthusiastically agrees to it in that moment. Consent given to one prompt is not consent to the next one. Past participation, a relationship between the players, alcohol, group excitement, or anything said earlier in the night does not stand in for that person's agreement now. Consent that is pressured, assumed, uncertain, or given by someone whose judgement is significantly impaired is not consent for the purpose of these Terms.
4.3 Anyone can stop it, at any point, without explaining why
Any player may decline, skip, or stop a prompt — or end the whole session — at any time, for any reason or no reason, without giving an explanation and without needing anyone else's agreement. Doing so is normal, permitted use of the Service. It is never a breach of these Terms, never grounds to exclude someone from the rest of the night, and never something the Service or any other player is entitled to talk a person out of.
4.4 You may not use the Service to pressure anyone
By using the Service you agree that you will not use it, a prompt, group dynamics around it, alcohol, persistence, guilt, embarrassment, or any other form of pressure to coerce, manipulate, intimidate, or talk another person into doing something they have not freely, currently, and enthusiastically agreed to as §4.2 requires, or into staying quiet about not wanting to. You agree to accept another player's decision to skip or stop immediately, without argument, without making them justify it, and without holding it against them for the rest of the night or afterward.
4.5 We cannot see the room
The Service runs on one shared phone in a physical room we have no presence in. We cannot detect, verify, or monitor whether real consent exists for a given prompt, whether someone feels able to say no, or what happens after a prompt is shown. Reading the room, watching for discomfort, and stopping play the moment someone is not okay with it is the players' responsibility, not something the Service does for you.
4.6 No recording or sharing without separate, explicit consent
Do not photograph, film, screen-record, or otherwise capture another player's participation, and do not share, post, or forward anything about what another player said or did during a session, without that specific person's separate and explicit consent to that recording or sharing. Realising afterward that a prompt or its aftermath should never have been recorded or shared does not undo the harm — get consent first, every time, for the recording itself, not just for the prompt.
4.7 If you're not playing alone
Tuvro is built to be played by a table, not by the phone's owner alone. If the device (or account, if you have one) is yours, or you are the one who started the session, you are responsible for making the rules in this §4 known to everyone at the table before play starts, and for their play through you — the Service is licensed to you under §7, and everyone you invite to or allow into a session on your device plays under that licence, not one of their own.
Violating this §4 is a material breach of these Terms (see §9), and — because it exposes other people to real harm, not just us to a contract claim — it is the clearest example of conduct we may act on without warning, and conduct for which you indemnify us under §11.
5. Subscriptions, trials, billing, cancellation, refunds
Auto-renewal. Premium access ("Premium") is sold as a fixed-term, auto-renewing subscription (for example weekly, monthly, or yearly) through in-app purchase on the Apple App Store or Google Play. It renews automatically at the end of each term unless you cancel before the renewal date. Billing, receipts, and your payment details are handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never receive your full card number. Purchases are processed through RevenueCat so the app can unlock premium content for your guest id, or your account if you have one.
Price and term length are shown in the paywall and in the store listing before you buy. Applicable taxes are added by the store.
Cancel. Cancel auto-renewal in Apple Settings → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Subscriptions; Settings → Manage subscription in the app opens the store's subscription management screen where the platform supports it. If you cancel during a paid term, you keep access until that term ends and the subscription then does not renew. Consumer rights that the law of your country of residence gives you in relation to cancellation — including any statutory right of withdrawal, such as the 14-day right available to consumers in the EU and UK — apply in addition to this paragraph and are not reduced by it.
Refunds. Apple and Google handle refunds under their own policies. We do not hold your payment details and cannot issue a refund directly.
Deleting your data or your account does not cancel a subscription. If you delete your data (or your Tuvro account, if you have one) without separately cancelling in Apple or Google Subscriptions, the store may keep charging you for the subscription. Restore purchases brings it back to the app.
Trials, if we offer one. If a free trial or introductory offer is attached to a subscription, the store shows its length and the price that applies once it ends. Unless the store offer says otherwise, the paid subscription begins automatically when the trial ends. Cancel before the trial ends if you do not want to be charged. We do not send our own renewal reminders; Apple and Google may send theirs under their own policies.
Restoring. On a new device, or after deleting your data, tap Restore purchases in Settings. It matches the subscription bought with your Apple ID or Google account; you don't need to sign in to Tuvro. Restoring your subscription restores Premium access; it does not restore on-device preferences such as the list of prompts you've hidden with "don't show this card again" — those stay on the device where you set them (see Privacy §2).
6. Advertising
The Service does not currently show third-party advertising. If we introduce advertising, we will update these Terms and the Privacy Policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your separate consent. Your existing analytics choices do not, by themselves, cover advertising.
7. Our content and your licence
The app, its branding, and the catalogue of packs and prompts are owned by us or licensed to us. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial, in-person play. You may not copy, scrape, data-mine, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the catalogue or any part of the app, and you may not use it to build a competing product, except where the law gives you a right we cannot override or where we agree to it in writing first.
8. Acceptable use
In addition to §4, you must not:
- use the Service for anything illegal, or to harm, threaten, harass, or exploit another person;
- let anyone under 18 use the Service, play, or be handed a prompt — and in particular involve a minor in a spicy pack, or let a minor be present while one is open;
- record or share another player's participation without their separate, explicit consent (§4.6);
- attempt to break, bypass, or interfere with our authentication, App Check, anti-abuse, or server systems, or access another person's account without permission;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the app's prompts or code beyond what applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction; or
- use the Service if you are a person or entity that applicable sanctions or export-control law forbids us from dealing with, or from a country subject to a comprehensive embargo.
9. Suspension and termination
We may warn you, or limit, suspend, or permanently close your access (your guest id or account) if you materially breach these Terms — including §4 or §8 — abuse the Service, put another person at risk, or if we are required to act by law. Where the breach is severe (in particular, using the Service to pressure someone, or recording or sharing someone without consent) we may act immediately, without prior warning.
Suspending or closing your access does not, by itself, cancel a store subscription. Cancel separately in Apple or Google Subscriptions if you no longer want to be billed.
You may stop using the Service and delete your data (or your account, if you have one) at any time (§3). If your access is terminated under this section, the licence we grant you in §7 ends at the same time and you must stop using the app and, where you can, delete it from your devices. If your access is suspended rather than terminated, that licence is suspended for the same period and resumes if we restore your access. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive — including §4, §7 (except the licence itself, to the extent it has ended as set out above), §8 through §14, and §16 — survive termination.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any prompt is suitable, safe, or advisable for you or anyone you play with. Nothing in this section removes a warranty that applicable consumer law does not let us disclaim.
11. Limitation of liability and indemnity
What we are not responsible for. We are not liable for what any person — consenting or not — chooses to do, say, or agree to during or after a session, for anyone disregarding the age rules in §1 or the consent, skip, or recording rules in §4, or for outages, pricing, or billing decisions made by Apple or Google. The Service is a tool that displays prompts; the people in the room are responsible for what they do with them.
Cap on our liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, and except as set out in "What this cap does not touch" below, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid for Premium through the Apple App Store or Google Play in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) EUR 50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, to the extent the law allows that exclusion.
What this cap does not touch. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence where the law forbids limiting that, for our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for defective digital content or services where EU, UK, or equivalent mandatory consumer-protection law gives you a remedy we cannot contract around. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, Norway, or Iceland, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected by this section.
Indemnity. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claim, liability, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your breach of these Terms, in particular §4 or §8; (b) your use of the Service to pressure, coerce, or fail to respect another person's consent or decision to stop; (c) your recording or sharing of another player without their consent; (d) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party; or (e) the conduct of anyone you host at, invite to, or allow to use the Service in a session on your device or account, to the extent that conduct would breach §4 or §8 if it were your own (§4.7). This does not apply to the extent the claim results from our own breach of these Terms or violation of law.
Class actions (United States). If you are located in the United States, you and we agree that any claim will be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding, to the extent that waiver is enforceable under the law that applies to you.
12. Privacy
How we collect, use, and protect personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your agreement with us but is published separately from these Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Czechia, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of habitual residence continues to apply to the extent that law cannot be displaced by an agreed choice of law, and nothing in this section reduces the protection it gives you.
The courts of Czechia have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, UK, Switzerland, Norway, or Iceland, you may instead bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence where the law gives you that right, and we may only bring proceedings against you in that same country's courts. Nothing here removes a right a consumer's local law otherwise gives them to choose their own forum. If you are located in the United States, the class-action waiver in §11 also applies to any dispute under this section.
14. App Store additional terms
If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply, and take priority over anything in these Terms that conflicts with them for as long as you use the Apple-distributed version:
- These Terms are between you and us only, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.
- Your licence to use the app is limited to a non-transferable licence to use it on an Apple device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the app may also be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
- We, not Apple, are solely responsible for any maintenance and support services for the Service, to the extent we provide them or applicable law requires them; Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services for the Service.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app to you, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation of any kind for the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility alone, as set out in §10 and §11.
- We, not Apple, are solely responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product-liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar law.
- If a third party claims the app infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that the U.S. Government has designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with any applicable third-party agreement (for example your wireless data service agreement) when using the app.
- Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and once you accept them Apple has the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
If you obtained the app from Google Play, your use is additionally subject to the Google Play Terms of Service, and billing for any subscription is governed by Google Play's own policies as described in §5.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Effective" date at the top changes when we do. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to flag it in the app or by email where we have a usable address for you before it takes effect, except where local law requires a different process (for example advance notice and a right to end the contract for consumers in some jurisdictions). Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, stop using the Service and, if you have an active subscription, cancel it through Apple or Google.
16. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any earlier agreement on the same subject. If a court finds any provision unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remain in effect and the unenforceable provision is read narrowly enough to make it enforceable, if that is possible. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our assets, or by operation of law. Where we provide a translation of these Terms, the English version controls if there is a conflict.
17. Contact
